Semiconductor Solution

  • Optimizing Semiconductor Chemical Distillation for J-Corporation

    - Our client, J-Corp, a specialist in processing electronic and semiconductor cleaning agents, has successfully upgraded its distillation line by transitioning from traditional oil-based and standard dry pumps to a high-efficiency integrated vacuum system designed by NEWSCO-SVC.

    overview
    • Project Title :

High-Efficiency Integrated Vacuum System for Chemical Distillation

    • Client & Industry :

J-Corp (Specialist in electronic and semiconductor cleaning agents)

    • Year :

Initial installation in 2018 (E-Corp expansion in 2022)

    • Core Solution :

      High-Efficiency Integrated Vacuum System

      - Technology Source: Edwards (UK) Strategic Combination

      - System Mix: Chemical Mechanical Booster + Dry Claw Vacuum Pump

    The Challenge

Initially, J-Corp utilized Oil Rotary Piston Vacuum Pumps from a Japanese competitor (Company O).
Seeking process improvements, they later switched to Dry Screw Vacuum Pumps from a German competitor (Company B).
However, these transitions presented new hurdles:

    • Coating Peeling & Corrosion

Frequent peeling of internal coatings led to process contamination.

    • Prohibitive Maintenance Costs

Excessive repair expenses and downtime hindered production efficiency.

    • Frequent Operational Downtime

Mechanical failures in distillation lines resulted in costly interruptions.

    The NEWSCO-SVC Solution

To resolve these persistent issues, NEWSCO-SVC engineered a robust system specifically for chemical distillation environments, featuring a strategic combination from Edwards (UK):

    • 01 System Configuration:

A high-performance combination of the Chemical Mechanical Booster and the Dry Claw Vacuum Pump.

    • 02 Engineered Reliability:

Unlike previous screw-type pumps, the Claw technology and Edwards’ specialized boosters provided superior resistance to chemical vapors and ensured mechanical durability without the risk of coating failure.

The Result : Proven Expansion & Group-wide Adoption

Since the initial installation in 2018, the 5-set system has delivered flawless performance, receiving high praise for its operational stability and cost-efficiency. This success led to further expansion within the corporate group:

    • Sustained Success

Based on J-Corp’s evaluation, its affiliate E-Corp adopted the exact same system configuration starting in 2022.

    • Cost-Efficiency

Operational stability praised with reduced maintenance burden.

    • Ongoing Partnership

Both companies have since made this system their standard, leading to continuous and recurring orders.

    Strategic Outlook

"The flawless performance of the integrated Claw and Booster system has received high praise for operational stability, ensuring its position as the standard distillation solution for the group"
