SVC has secured a new contract to supply a mechanical boosters and dry vacuum pumps to a major Korean chemical materials manufacturer.

The customer specializes in the production of polyurethane raw materials, including polyols, which are widely used in furniture, bedding, automotive seats, construction materials, and LNG-related insulation applications.

Vacuum technology plays an important role in polyurethane and polyol production processes, including:

Reactor vacuum operation

Deaeration and degassing

Moisture and volatile component removal

Drying and distillation

Solvent recovery

The selected vacuum pump package is expected to support stable vacuum generation, efficient gas handling, and reliable operation under demanding chemical-process conditions.

This contract further strengthens SVC’s experience in supplying vacuum equipment for the petrochemical, basic organic chemical, and advanced material industries.
