NEWSCO Vacuum / SVC is expanding its capabilities beyond the supply of bare-shaft dry screw vacuum pumps by providing customized vacuum pumping systems engineered to meet each customer’s actual process requirements.

Rather than supplying only the main vacuum pump, SVC can design and integrate complete systems incorporating motors, Roots boosters, coolers, silencers, filters, instrumentation, piping, purge systems, and flushing systems as required by the application.

The system engineering process begins with a detailed review of the customer’s operating conditions, including the required vacuum level, gas handling capacity, process characteristics, operating temperature, and other technical requirements. Based on these conditions, SVC selects the most suitable vacuum pump and supporting equipment.

SVC then prepares the engineering documentation necessary for system integration and technical review, including P&IDs, GA drawings, datasheets, technical documents, and performance curves. These documents allow both SVC and the customer to review equipment configuration, piping arrangements, instrumentation, and operating conditions before fabrication.

Particular attention is given to the interaction between the main vacuum pump, Roots booster, cooler, filter, and associated process equipment. Proper equipment sizing and system configuration are essential to achieving stable vacuum performance and reliable operation throughout the process.

Depending on project requirements, supporting equipment may be manufactured internally or sourced from qualified domestic and international suppliers. SVC coordinates the selected components and integrates them into a complete vacuum pumping system.

After assembly, the system undergoes various inspections and performance checks, including vacuum performance, leakage, temperature, vibration, interlock functions, and noise, to verify that the complete package operates according to the agreed technical requirements.

A recent systemization project was carried out for S Company, a global specialty chemicals producer, for a distillation process. The supplied system included a dry screw vacuum pump, Roots booster, cooler equipped with TCV/TE/TI instrumentation, filter, and purge & flushing system.
